Current Projects and Activities A dynamic DNA suspended sculpture commission / working with the London Science Museum to contribute to the development of a series of creative events and a participatory project.    
Small Wonder - A sound, light and video installation developed around participants discussing the place of spirituality in their own lives. As each share their own particular truth a larger picture emerges that may resonate with our own innate need to make sense of the life we have and the universe we inhabit, and how one may live in accord with that understanding. 2007
Talking Chances - A 40 minute audio journey reflecting the thoughts and experiences of former employees and associates of Chances Glass Factory. Short extracts were taken from 16 recorded conversations to form this audio piece.
The Glasshouse is a trans-disciplinary performance project created by Kindle Theatre that is based upon the legacy of the historic Chances Glass Factory which had far reaching consequences for both the development of Smethwick and the production of innovative glass for worldwide applications. June 2006.
In On The Act - a series of photographs commissioned to help celebrate the launch of Sandwell Council’s Disability and Equality Scheme in May 2006.
its like love is - A collaboration with artist Bobby Bird. This project reflects our interest in creating a dynamic, responsive environment that invites viewers to actively engage with the work. 2004-06.

Behind Thought the Light Shines Bright
The audience are invited to enter a darkened space that contains 60 empty light sockets suspended in the air. The audience participate by choosing a bulb from a box, make an inscription on its surface and insert it into an empty light socket, illuminating the personal message. November 2005.

A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings - During the summer of 2005 I worked with WILDWORKS and Kneehigh Theatre on the production of their third and final incarnation of A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings that was staged at Hayle Quay, Cornwall July-August 2005.
Fire Sculptures at the Eden Project - This project is a collaboration with Cornwall-based artist Peter Hill to design and build two six-metre high animated fire sculptures as part of the The Eden Project's winter festival Time of Gifts and the Africa Calling - Live8 concert in June 2005
Sounding The Black Country - A collaborative with sound artist Annie Mahtani that explores perceptions of the Black Country through an installation comprising dynamic sound and image. Through a circle of 6 speakers local people speak of their own sense of belonging to the area. These voices are combined with a dramatic soundtrack and large scale colour imagery.
Spectral - A short film produced in response to a new remix of The Higher Intelligence Agency's Spectral that first appeared on the pioneering LP Colourform. The film was shown during a rare HIA live set at the The Big Chill festival at Eastnor Castle Deer Park, 2004
Guillermo Gómez-Peña Master Class - In May/June 2004 I participated in a week-long Master Class and Salon Performance led by the international artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña, supported by Emiko Lewis.

Beyond the Cut - Commissioned artists devise seven participatory art projects in response to The Galton Valley area of the West Midlands, during January - April 2004. The project culminated in a celebratory weekend during April 2004, and was developed in collaboration with The Public and British Waterways.

Perfect World - Produced as part of Bit Parts commissions of new media work across the West Midland. Perfect world is two films that reflect peoples’ perceptions about Gulf War II, globalisation, and thoughts about the possibilities of living in a perfect world.
Elders - 18 speakers stand in a circle in a darkened room. Through these speakers 18 individuals talk, both in turn and together, of things that matter to them, reflecting upon lived experience, weighing up the most important things about their life. 2002/03
where do i go from here? - 60 suspended speakers, each with a small blue light attached, surround three circular pools of water. In the pools a video image is projected whilst the whisper of voices reverberate throughout the space. The voices are those of refugees and asylum seekers, telling their own stories and presenting their own personal view on life.

The Salt Passages - Based upon the recorded conversations of people in the Teesside area of northeast England, this CD-ROM and installation project combines interactivity, video and sound to reflect upon a rapidly changing social landscape.

The Glass - Using reworked found images and sounds, aspects of the complex relationship between the west and the 'developing' world - political, social and economic- are explored. Developed as both an interactive CD-ROM and a real space exhibition. Produced as part of Mphil project at the University of Derby. The Glass - 1997-2000

flow - life changing moments of 8 participants are recorded, edited and played back through 8 large suspended speakers which surround a large pool of water. A video image is projected into the water depicting scenes from daily life in the city of Derby. Commissioned by Q-Arts and produced in collaboration with media artist Sean Clark. 2000
Passage - the conversations and environmental sounds which formed the Salt Passages project are reworked into a 15 minute soundscape. Commissioned to mark the LIVE.STOCK ram/fm event, broadcast from The ARC, Stockton-on-Tees, this projected was produced in collaboration with sound artist Bobby Bird. 2000
Birmingham Frequencies - short interactive pieces featuring sounds, images and video clips, developed to CD-ROM to accompany the release of the audio CD Birmingham Frequencies. This CD marked the acclaimed collaboration between the Higher Intelligence Agency (Birmingham) and Biosphere (Norway), part of which took the form of a live performance at the top of the landmark Rotunda Building in Birmingham. 1997
